The artist Montse Roldos writes about this collection of watercolors:

"With my work, I have created a pictorial universe filled with objects and spaces that move between the poetics of the domestic and the most intimate landscapes of memory. I love the things that surround us and give meaning to our lives. Have you ever thought about what our life would be like without things? They are omnipresent in our lives and fill the spaces we inhabit. They are also the ones that, since the past, help us build the present in which we live. Things endure, we do not. My perspective on the somewhat old-fashioned domestic world is a tribute to all the little, and not so little, things of everyday life that surround us and make our lives easier. Giving value to the ordinary and to all these things so forgotten, so necessary, and at the same time so poetic, if we are able to see their poetry."
