NO SMOKING painting
Hand painting by artist Kike Ibañez. This bold artwork combines text and image to deliver a clear message. It features a simplified red and white character with devilish horns and a black bow tie on a bright yellow background. The stylized uppercase text NO SMOKING emphasizes the prohibition with humor and social critique. Direct, graphic, and pop, the composition immediately captures attention while inviting reflection on contemporary behaviors

"Hecho de la piel del diablo" series: The series “Hecho de la piel del diablo” (Made of the Devil’s Skin) (18 paintings) depicts mischievous children with boundless energy through devilish characters, fire, and text, in a vertical format of 65×92 cm.
"Hecho de la piel del diablo" is a series of 18 vertical paintings (65×92 cm), each featuring:
. A devilish character
. Fire or the idea of fire
. Text
. Ideas born from intuition
The series grew from Kike Ibáñez’s last painting for the BIZI exhibition, The Beauty of Riding a Bicycle, where a devil on a bike challenges the notion of a “bad child.”
Inspired by his childhood and his grandfather—a professional cyclist whose formidable presence shaped the family—Kike transforms mischief into creativity. Like Hercules wearing the Nemean Lion’s skin, he “wears” the devil’s skin, turning it into a source of artistic energy.
