More information about the arwork: For the series of paintings "Virus of hope for the earth", Maiman has created a fictional universe - reminiscent of classical still lifes- where nature and flowers, with their ephemeral existences are a reminder of the brevity of life and the fleetingness of beauty.
Mainman experiments with the tension between chaos and control. He gets rid of limits using unconventional materials many times. He feels that he expands as if he wanted to discover a new beginning with a very personal, improvised and expressive language, also linked to the very concept of modern civilization in question. Fold the paint with brushstrokes and spots that manifest a strong emotional content. This process is for Martinez Marín as a catharsis of life, a wild celebration of freedom. The artist rejects the idea of "accident", of chance in his work; "Chance does not exist, but everything is a direct representation of my subconscious desires".
