"From all forces comes a form.
I have worked on the material constraint, the glass finds its way within the various frames that tie it up (several metals, threads, wired-meshes, fibers).
It spurs out with natural forms and powerful contrasts.
This is what fascinates me; this is the effect I seek.
Glass turns from a liquid to a solid state, I intend to fix its fluidity, to emphasize the blowing of air that gives it its shapes.
So I play with the contrasts, transparency, the natural curves of glass and its opacity, with the razing edges of the metal.
I explore each metal characteristic, its resistance to heat, its color (copper, silver, black), its hardness (sheet, plate, thread) and mix them with the transparent or colored glass.
Glass is a delicate and lively material. Its suppleness, its fragility, the emotion that stems from it make it seem like flesh to me.
I try to make objects that won’t come out as dull, that tell you something.
So I insert a story inside their shapes."
