Kusumi is born in Tokyo (Japan) in 1976.
She came to Barcelona when she was 21 years old to complete her Fine Arts degree which she had initiated in Tokyo.
She currently paints, prints and works with ceramics.
Creation forms part of her life from an early age. It is a necessity, the place where she relates to the outside world. She eats, sleeps and creates.

They are thin white plates, in the shape of diverse animals.
With their minimal and simultaneously expressive eyes, they can be an object of companionship, or they can be utilitarian.
They can be used for anything from serving snacks, to guarding the jewels on the bedside table to holding a bar of soap in the bath, and a thousand things more.
They are tender and calm animals that accompany you anywhere in the home.
